Responsibilities:
Process and record financial transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures
Prepare and maintain accounting documents, such as invoices, bills, and bank statements
Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
Prepare financial reports and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update the general ledger
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective financial operations
Requirements:
Diploma in Accounting or a related field is required, additional education in accounting or finance is a plus
Proven work experience as an Accounts Clerk or similar role
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
